Sometimes Julie Powell's readers send Julie Powell stuff. Y'know, stuff like... Virginia Diner. Which is apparently a brand of Salted Virginia Peanuts. But I don't know, whenever I see it, I think...

Virginia Diner? More like... VAGINA DINER!

You know, the debut album released of the emcee Akinyele? Released on July 6, 1993, on Interscope Records? Produced by Main Source member Large Professor, with scratches by X-Ecutioners member Rob Swift? That album! You know, the album that was not much of a commercial success, only making it to #83 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and producing one single, "The Bomb," which made it to #29 on the Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales? That album which is now out of print?

Or maybe not. Maybe Virginia Diner is a real brand that people know and recognize.
